Chris Lemky, C.C.C.

M.A. (Counselling)

Practical, action-oriented counselling for men, first responders, and people carrying significant responsibility.

Performance means different things to everyone. For some, it's pursuing a meaningful goal. For others, it's rebuilding relationships, managing stress more effectively, or finding a better way through life's challenges. Understanding where you are, where you want to be, and what is getting in the way is often the first step toward meaningful change.

Chris helps clients develop clarity, confidence, and practical skills for navigating life's challenges. His approach is collaborative, structured, and action-oriented. Together, you'll identify the patterns maintaining current difficulties, build on existing strengths, and develop strategies that can be applied long after therapy has ended.

As a business owner, athlete, and coach, Chris understands the demands of balancing work, family, health, and personal expectations. More than twenty years in competitive sport, coaching, and graduate training in counselling psychology have shaped an approach that is practical, individualized, and grounded in evidence-based care.

Therapeutic fit matters. Clients often describe Chris as direct, genuine, and unfiltered. His sessions are thoughtful, practical, and occasionally irreverent, reflecting a belief that meaningful insight sometimes comes from seeing familiar problems in unexpected ways. Clients looking for that style often find they connect with Chris very quickly.

In your work together, you can expect to focus on:

  • identifying patterns that are keeping you stuck

  • building practical strategies that can be applied immediately

  • improving confidence, communication, and emotional regulation

  • creating sustainable ways of moving forward through challenges

Chris may be a good fit if you:

  • prefer practical strategies over abstract conversations

  • are carrying significant responsibility and want support that reflects the realities of your life

  • value accountability, personal growth, and meaningful action

  • appreciate a direct, collaborative, and structured approach

Erin Zelinski, R.Psych

Ph.D. (Cognitive Neuroscience)

Neuroscience-informed psychology for athletes, professionals, and high performers seeking sustainable change.

Living well is influenced by far more than motivation or willpower. The way we attend to information, interpret situations, regulate emotion, learn from experience, and respond under pressure all influence how consistently we're able to perform in sport, work, relationships, and everyday life.

Erin's approach integrates neuroscience, psychological science, and practical clinical experience. She selects research-informed interventions with equal attention to your strengths, goals, values, and the context in which you're living and performing. Her work focuses on understanding the processes contributing to current difficulties before developing an individualized plan for change.

Growing up as a competitive swimmer and later experiencing burnout gave Erin an appreciation for the complexity of performance. Her training includes a Ph.D. in Cognitive Neuroscience, a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Psychosocial Oncology, Master's degrees in Behavioural Neuroscience and Counselling Psychology, and extensive continuing professional education. Together, these experiences inform an evidence-based, individualized approach grounded in research and adapted to each client's circumstances.

In your work together, you can expect to focus on:

  • understanding the factors contributing to current challenges

  • rebuilding confidence, clarity, and consistency

  • developing strategies that hold under pressure

  • creating sustainable ways of functioning at a high level

Erin may be a good fit if you:

  • want to perform more consistently while protecting your wellbeing

  • feel like you've been working hard but aren't seeing the progress you'd expect

  • appreciate an evidence-based approach tailored to your circumstances

  • are curious about understanding yourself and translating insight into meaningful change

Erin provides in-person appointments in Calgary and virtual appointments across Alberta. She is an approved provider for GamePlan and the AMA's Physician and Family Support Program (PFSP).
